Tip 1. Conduct your own internal audits regularly.
This provides you with a clear barometer of where your RTO is and provides you with direction for improvements. There is nothing wrong with finding areas that need improving. In fact it is a positive and something to tell the Accrediting Body auditor about; how you fixed it, and show them the results.
Remember that having someone from outside of the RTO helps to give you a perspective that the auditor might take. They come from a different angle and often see the wood beyond the trees. A consultant is invaluable to assist you with these internal audits.
