Are your RTO Systems meeting your needs?

F4Solutions.com.auWhilst RTOs can put any number of policies in place, nothing will work unless there is strong cultural aspect to gain respect for the system. This cultural aspect comes from the top and must work its way down through the organisation. The CEO must be respecting policies whether they be RTO training systems, staffing or safety related for the workers to really take them on and run with them. Your RTO compliance relies on everyone knowing the systems and working with them. The question remains – how will you influence those around you to respect them.

Every person has their own style and approach to managing their workers. Consider how your journey is going to go, will it be on the leadership side, honouring those that make difference and respect the systems or make a difference?

Should you be consulting your workers, your industry experts or anyone else that is a stakeholder?

Your RTO systems must reflect the actual RTO you have, your target market and how you action tasks.

It is important to learn from one another and make changes where necessary.

So consider how you do this? Will it be through regular meetings, discussions, or however you deem fit?

RTO Tip – review your RTO Systems:

  • Are they actually saying what you do?
  • Do you need to change what you do?
  • Or do you need to update your policies or procedures?
  • Have your recorded the improvements as a continuous improvement?
