Discussions with Clients

I was at a client’s workplace providing training and assessment the other day and the Training Manager, who had contracted my services, was asking about the mapping of the assessment to the unit of competence. I was so excited to hear him take interest and want to understand the quality of the RTO services being provided. I wanted to tell him in great detail, however knowing he would tune out quickly, I did a brief synopsis, “the whole unit…”.I offered to show him the mapping document and how we worked through the scenarios to meet his specific requirements, and so on. Inside I so wanted to go into more detail, but as anticipated he had already tuned out.


The point was , he asked a very important question, and one that is not asked enough.
