I recently found a guide produced by the Hair & Beauty Australia Industry Association (HABA). It is a worthwhile read for anyone working with employers of apprentices or trainees. The new resource is called The Apprentice Edge and helps with understanding the obligations, rights and responsibilities as an employer working with their chosen Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
HABA has taken into account the frustrations and concerns within the industry regarding apprentices and trainees, and have produced the guide as an invaluable tool to help with employing apprentices and trainees from inception to completion.
The guide will be essential in understanding today’s apprenticeship and traineeships and how to work within the current framework to get the best outcome for employers and the apprentice or trainee.
