It has been noted that when issuing a qualification (or testamur ) RTOs are now required to issue the qualification and a record of results. The record of results may be provided in addition to the testamur, or printed on the back of the testamur.
In the past this extra sheet may have been a Statement of Attainment or a Record of Achievement. For anyone using either the above it is now required you change the additional page.
A statement of attainment should now only be issued if a learner successfully completes one or more units of competency or modules or an accredited short course, but does not meet the requirements for a qualification (as specified in the Training Package).
Following a post I put up recently, the use of the AQF logo has since been clarified and I need to advise you that RTOs may use the AQF logo on:
- testamurs and graduation statements
- student information and
- advertising and promotional material
The AQF logo must not be used on:
- Statements of Attainment, or
- Testamurs or graduation statements for non-AQF qualifications.
The new AQF logo is now available from www.aqf.edu.au.
A reminder that ASQA RTOs must not include a state or territory registering body logo on testamurs.
