The National Quality Council is launching its recently published Good Practice Guide for Offshore VET Delivery by offering RTOs the opportunity to attend free interactive workshop sessions. Conducted during June 2011, the sessions will be held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
What will it cover?
To ensure the lessons from the guide are best understood, the sessions will have a focus on participant involvement and interaction. It is anticipated that participants will gain an understanding of the key challenges and issues faced when delivering VET offshore, and arming them with practical solutions and measures to address or overcome them.
Areas that will be covered in the workshops include:
- Business planning
- Partner choice, due diligence and relationship management
- AQTF compliance including staff skills and qualifications
- Contextualisation of VET programs
- Assessment and validation
- Choosing delivery models and offshore facilities
Who should attend?
CEOs and senior managers of both prospective and experienced offshore RTOs, both public and private entities, are encouraged to attend.
How do I register?
If you would like to be notified when dates and times for the workshops are released, register your interest by sending an email to caitlin.harris@tvetaustralia.com.au with your name contact details and your preferred workshop location (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide or Perth).
I would like to know when you are delivering information sessions for RTO’s looking at delivering offshore.
I live in Brisbane but would travel to whereever the sessions were held.
Kind regards
