Meeting your learner’s and industries needs doesn’t stop at the initial audit. It is a continuous process, and you need to consider how you will monitor your service and maintain a quality RTO that meets the needs of your community. The intent of this standard is to ensure that your RTO will provide learners with every reasonable opportunity to complete their training program.
To show this you will need to demonstrate you have processes in place to ensure that:
- The learning support needs of learners are systematically assessed
- Learners have access to relevant learning support services, including assistance with language, literacy and numeracy
- The support services you provide are consistent with the developed training and assessment strategies
- Support services are monitored and improved.
Mechanisms that could be used are:
- Pre-course interview forms and questionnaires
- RPL self-assessment forms
- Enrolment forms with questions that identify support needs
- Credit transfer forms
- LLN assessment tools.
Thank you for your great emails with lots of information i am thinking of going through the process for registratioin as an RTO if i do from the look of the information you have posted it would be a big help to enlist you to assist with that process
