I felt it was important that I remind you all that the Quality indicator reporting is due at the end of June. You need to collect data from your students and employers and report it.
The Quality Indicators Reporting Software version 2.4 for Windows has now been released and all RTOs need to install this version. To download the software for the Quality Indicators questionnaires see the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) website.
Your RTO is required to collect, use and report data on the three AQTF quality indicators:
- employer satisfaction,
- learner engagement and
- competency completion rates.
Your organisation must submit an annual summary report to the Department on each of the three quality indicators by 30 June each year.
The data is used in conjunction with data on audit history and complaints to determine an RTO’s risk rating, which is considered when making decisions about the frequency and scope of RTO audits. For example, RTOs with high quality outcomes and a low risk rating can expect less regulatory intervention from the Department.
The AQTF Quality Indicators form part of the AQTF Essential Standards for Registration. It is a condition of registration that an RTO cooperates with its registering body by providing accurate and timely data relevant to measures of its performance (Condition of Registration 2).
