Recently I received notification of WELL funding within the Transport and Logistics Industry and felt it was important to provide you with the link. I know having worked extensively in this area that it could be used widely and recommended you seriously considering the options available. Anyway here is the information and link:
“The Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) program aims to deliver job-related training integrated with communication and numeracy skills.
We are delighted to be one of the 6 Industry Skills Councils that have been selected to act on behalf of the Government as WELL Brokers to assist industry to utilise this program in their workplaces.
The Skills Council will send out a WELL Broker Newsletter every two months to let you know what is happening in this area of training. We will also advise you on how we can assist organisations wishing to apply for WELL program training (which is 75% funded by the government).
A new WELL Broker section has also been added to the TLISC website (www.tlisc.com.au) and is where you can find out in-depth information about the WELL Program including case studies, training tools, guidelines and templates for applications and listings of RTOs able to provide WELL training. I am here to help manage this process for you, making it much easier to achieve the best possible outcomes for skills and capability development in T&L.”
