I was running a leadership programme this week, and the theme for the afternoon was lessons in life. This time I invited people to share with us all something about a life long lesson. The reponses were amazing, and powerful. The responses looked something like this:
- Learning is not a one time event, but a lifelong process. It is continuous and self-directed (no one lese can help you).
- Chane will only come about if you make it heppen
- If you keep doing things the way you have always done, you will only know what you have always known.
- The more risks you take, the more you learn. Sometimes it takes that step into the unknown for the learning to happen.
- Be ready to fail and learn from what comes up. Don’t waste your failures.
- Self-reflection of your successes, failures, motives, assumptions and actions will guide your learnings.
Setting up an RTO can be hard, it can cause you to experience some valuable learnings. Here I have shared some of my experiences to help you on your way.
