As always F4 Solutions tries to keep you up-to-date with the changes happening around the VET sectors so you can make changes within your RTO to reflect the new requirements. For those of you registered with ASQA, please check the latest newsletters and general directions.
Please be aware that the NQC policy and NSSC policy is now different.
The changes that have been made to streamline the new AQF Second Edition January 2013 document. For you there importantly two key changes to be aware of:
- Removal of reference to employability skills on testamurs
- The requirement for RTOs to include a reference on testamurs of Training Package qualifications to the employability skills summaries published on training.com.au has been removed. Under the new Standards for Training Packages, qualifications are no longer required to specify employability skills summaries.
- The delivery of any units of competency in a language other than English must be noted
- It is a requirement that where any of the units of competency have been delivered and/or assessed in a language other than English, a statement that this has occurred is to be included on the qualification or statement of attainment. The NQC policy only required this statement where the majority of units were delivered and/or assessed in a Language other than English.
