Setting up an RTO is about making change

Setting up an RTO is about making change in your existing environment. Change is something people have to do consciously. The question often asked is “can I make those changes?” Change isn’t about fate or destiny, it is about going after and getting what you want. Making it happen.

The dreams of being an RTO, the happy smiling faces of students, your staff, succinct systems, and the life you can lead all take change.

Change from where you are now to the place you really want to be.  It’s the change of state, the way you think and consequently act and experience is what I refer to when I mean change.

When you make a change you start to see people around you have changed; or have they?

Sometimes during that process of change you find obstacles in your way, they may be small speed bumps or obstacles that are so big you believe you can’t keep going. The best tips I can provide you here are:

Keep going……keep believing…….never give up!

Sometimes there is someone just around the corner who can assist you on your journey and help you to take the next step.

Have you ever become so frustrated at waiting for the change that you’ve become annoyed or angry and you’ve given up on waiting and changed your mind?

There comes a point in time when patience runs out – or does it?

Yet this is the very time that you, need to dig deep and stay on track and keep believing in yourself and the reason why you started the process in the first place.

At this point there is nothing wrong with seeking outside support.

Keep the thoughts of expecting only the best, and only the best will come.

Use thoughts like….

“I’m looking forward to when…….”

“I can’t wait until…….”

“Won’t it be amazing ……”

Remember,

  • We should live in the moment,
  • enjoy the journey,
  • understand that what we want isn’t what we really want and,
  • that we will always want more until we decide we don’t
  • make a decision to seek assistance if we can’t do it all ourselves.

There is obviously a lot of work involved in creating a comprehensive RTO system that is ready for the initial audit. If, however, it all still seems a bit daunting then there are other solutions.

The AQTF and training packages can be complex to understand.

What if you are in a position where you are considering external help?

We can help you save time by interpreting them and turning them into courses you can deliver.
